LUCY'S GOT YOU COVERED!
Lucy is an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who has worked with artists of all ages and skill levels! She holds a Bachelors of Musical Arts degree in Lyric Theatre from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she trained in musical theatre and opera singing, as well as a wide array of other vocal styles and in depth acting training. She first developed her teaching skills as a camp counselor for a children's performing arts camp, then in college, she was sought after by her peers for her advise and coaching expertise, and found bliss in transforming her classmates work!
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in compassion, confidence, and finding joy in using your voice.
She truly believes everyone has a voice and a song to share with the world!
All offerings can be conducted in person, or via Zoom/Facetime

Voice Lessons:

Lesson times range from 30 minutes to an hour. This time will be divided between exercises geared towards improving your vocal technique, and whatever style, or music you're working on! All lessons are personalized and planned on an individual basis! Lessons are FOR YOU and it is YOUR TIME! Everything will be catered to your needs and strengthening your sound! If you do not have any music you're currently working on, Lucy will assess your voice and work closely with you to find music that challenges you and that you love to sing!
Audition Coaching:

Auditions can be intimidating no matter what stage of your performance career. In this lesson we'll get into the nitty gritty of the audition process. Need help picking an audition piece? Don't know how to cut the music? How do I talk to my accompanist? What's a slate? Any and all questions will be answered, and we will also focus heavily on the storytelling in your audition material(s). We'll work on acting through song and if needed, a few vocal touch ups so you feel 1000% ready to nail your audition!
